We welcome submissions to JoCAT

Like any academic journal JoCAT relies on its immediate and wider community to contribute submissions, write reviews and volunteer to peer review. The journal is now in its seventeenth year and is going from strength to strength thanks to the wide range of high quality research and writing that has been contributed over the years.

The editorial team is always looking to encourage the publication of research in the creative arts therapies. On this website you can find lots of useful resources to help you with your submission. There is also a mentoring scheme to aid first time writers and authors from non-English speaking backgrounds.

As a double anonymous peer reviewed journal there is always a need for people to act as peer reviewers. We would therefore like to invite anyone interested to sign up to become a peer reviewer.

Please note: While a submission deadline is set, JoCAT does accept submissions at any time. They will be considered by the editorial team leading up to the regular editorial meetings. There may be a delay depending on when you make your submission.

Podcasts and creative contributions can be submitted at any time of the year.
