About the creator

  • Jaya is an Expressive arts therapist (AThR), Psychodramatist (ABP) and group process facilitator. She has worked for over a decade with at-risk youth and adults in Australia & India. Currently, she is in private practice and a culturally affirming therapist in a high school for Refugee and Asylum seeker females in Naarm, Melbourne. Additionally, she is a sessional teacher at the MIECAT Institute, teaching second-year students. Her passion is growing other than linguistic ways of relating, resourcing, and sensing for clients with complex and developmental trauma. Jaya’s interests include deepening body-based wisdom, embodied practices, and multimodal inquiring into self.
